Our Story

At Rolling Video Games + VRcade, our journey is one of resilience, family bonds, and a desire to bring fun to all.

The story begins in 2019.  Dad has just bought his first 2nd gen Oculus Rift VR system and it was life altering.  He wanted to bring this to the masses, but how?  Back then VR required PCs, 2-4 IR Cameras and lots of wires.  Opening a brick and mortar VRcade for such a new tech was not realistic.  He was discussing this topic with his Aunt Linda, when she asked a question that would set him down this path.  One simple question.  "Why don't you bring it to them?"

Enter Rolling Video Games a company in Tennessee that builds mobile video game trailers (essentially mobile LAN parties with multiple game systems), generator powered,  prewired internal network, the works.

So, a father and his two sons, united by a shared dream to create a space where people could come together and enjoy the magic of video games and VR, set out on an adventure.

We opened our doors in September of that year at a party in Londonderry, NH. With excitement and hope, we welcomed our first guests, only to be forced to close just six months later due to the unforeseen circumstances of COVID-19. Despite facing immense challenges and receiving no government or PPP funding, we refused to let our dream fade away.

Throughout these tough times, our family's strength and perseverance shone through. Dad, (Coach Eric), decided to continue to work his "day job" melting brass through the start-up process and still works it to this day, supporting our vision and keeping our dream alive.
RVGVRcade, allowing us to rebuild and grow stronger.

Coach Wesley, who has since graduated has pursued his career in woodworking, but continues to lend a helping hand whenever he can. However, it is now Coach Eric and Coach Riley who are at the helm, passionately running events and ensuring our game trailer remains a place where memories are made, friendships are formed, and fun is had by all.

We invite you to join us on this incredible journey. Come visit rvgvrcade.com and become a part of our ever-growing family. Together, we can create unforgettable moments of fun and excitement for all.
